Yesterfest celebrates the history of Bastrop, Texas and the cultures that have contributed to our storied past. At Yesterfest, you'll enjoy historic re-enactments including a wild west gun fight, demonstrators showcasing life as a pioneer, live music, dancing, story telling, pictures with longhorns, and more!
Schedule of Events
This year, Yesterfest will take place on April 24th-25th, 2015. There will be 4 stages of entertainment, each with a different theme—Tumbleweed Crossing, El Camino Real Music Festival, Steps in Time: Cultural Dance and Performance, and Texas Legends and Tales: Storytelling. This year, Yesterfest will take place on April 24th-25th, 2015 in historic downtown Bastrop, Texas. There will be 4 stages of entertainment, each with a different theme—Tumbleweed Crossing, El Camino Real Music Festival, Steps in Time: Cultural Dance and Performance, and Texas Legends and Tales: Storytelling.
Admission to Yesterfest is FREE for all ages!
Highlights this year include "Tumbleweed Crossing," a Western comedy and gunfight show produced by the same folks in charge of the western shows at Six Flags, a peformance by the Peterson Brothers Band, and a special guest appearance by John R. Erikson, author of the popular "Hank the Cowdog" book series.
