First Friday Art Walk Venues
The Bastrop First Friday Art Walk is a monthly showcase and celebration of galleries, artists, restaurants, shops, and small businesses located in historic downtown Bastrop, Texas with a mission of enhancing the economic development and revitalization of the community for businesses, visitors, and residents. Downtown Bastrop is home to several art galleries and artists' studios as well as numerous shops who host local artists during the First Friday Art Walk. Art Connections Gallery breaks the mold of the typical art gallery. They feature art by over 90 artists and showcase a wide range of artistic styles. "Art becomes heart" is their motto, and 10% of every sale is donated to charity.
